Open Sound System

I'm a big fan of OSS4, but unfortunately my new Macbook Pro aluminium (aka MBP 5,5) doesn't seem to be supported yet. I saw a bugzilla entry for an older model, but since that is from 2008 it wouldn't really apply anymore (different chipsets etc.).

Alsa adopted a patch for the new Macbooks but i don't really want to go back, is there any chance of getting it included in OSS?

I suggest you post this into oss-devel. There's a better chance of you getting the devs' there.
