Build a sampler out of a enterprise 450??

Hello, I am new to this group and this is my first post. I recieved as a gift two free E450 sparc servers. I would like to turn one into a sampler. I would love to be able to trigger samples via midi. The software platform is Solaris 10.
Can anyone recomend hardware and software that would allow me to accomplish this?
