5.1 Surround Sound on FreeBSD 5.3 - yes or no?

Hello,

after reading a while through many forums I never got the definitiv answer whether OSS (for example the newest Version OSS 3.99.2b) supports 5.1 Sound on FreeBSD 5.3 or not. I have a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 soundcard.

If it is possible, do I need 5.1 sound files or can I make OSS outputting the stereo sound on the rear and center speakers too?
